The vertical sliding sash window is a traditional style window, suitable for modern and period properties. The uPVC profile is delightfully detailed with a decorative finish to mimic original sash windows. The top and bottom sections also tilt in to make window cleaning a breeze. Decorative sash horns and authentic Georgian bars complete the look.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The UPVC sliding sash window has a decorative detail on its frame and sash and the frame is 128mm deep with the standard cill section being 152mm deep. Both the top and bottom sash slide up and down and tilt in making the cleaning of the external pane very easy. The window comes split half and half as standard, with an option to have the split one third/two thirds.
Minimum sizes are 370mm x 740mm with maximum sizes 1600mm x 3000mm.
Bespoke styles include Swept Head, Gothic Arch, True Arch, Raked Arch and Peaked Head. In these styles the top sash remains fixed and the lower sash slides.
Each window is fitted with sash locks, pole eyes on the top sash and sash lifts on the bottom sash. Tilt knobs on top and bottom sashes and tilt restrictors are all fitted as standard, with an upgrade available for travel restrictors. These hardware options are available in White, Gold, Satin Chrome, Chrome and Black.
We offer a range of security specifications and options. Our uPVC sliding sash window has been fully tested and certified to PAS24, which is suitable for new build and new extension projects, these windows will bring peace of mind to the most security conscious.
The anti-jemmi security bar is specially designed to increase security.
Base colour options are white or cream with the option to have a foil finish inside and out in Crystal White, Cream, Golden Oak, Irish Oak and Anthracite Grey.
Further options include foil outside with white inside in Chartwell Green, Anthracite Grey, Rosewood, Black Brown, Cream, Golden Oak and Irish Oak.
We also offer the option of having any colour you would like from the standard RAL colour range. This is a spray-painted finish to the highest of standards.
Our uPVC sliding sash window comes is fitted with toughened glass throughout and is A rated as standard. The four chambered frame profile with thermal inserts offers superb insulation for year-round comfort.
A 152mm cill is included with each window, which forms the lower part of the frame and this can be exchanged for a 185mm or 225mm cill. Trickle vents can be fitted in the top sash or the top frame (a 20mm frame extension may be required for trickle vents in the frame).
Plant on sash horns are fitted as standard as a traditional feature, with the option of no horns or a delightful run-through horn.
90° corner bays and 113° to 156° bay assemblies are available and a 6mm joiner.
