The uPVC tilt and turn window is highly versatile, stylish and innovative. The uPVC window profile is durable, easy to maintain and cost efficient but combined with the fantastic PAS 24 certified safety features of the tilt and turn window, your customers won’t need anything else. With a wide range of colours, foils and glazing options, you’re sure to offer the perfect fit for any property. Whether the property is new or old, we’ll have something to suit.
Tilt and turn windows are open in windows, popular in high rise buildings and modern properties. The window has two opening positions, tilting in to allow ventilation and open in to act as a fire escape and also makes window cleaning very easy. The tilt and turn window is available in chamfered and decorative profiling and is internally glazed. The design enables larger openers to be fitted, giving uninterrupted sight lines.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The tilt and turn window is available in our chamfered and decorative profile and comes with a large frame as standard. The large face of the frame is 70mm wide and the depth of the frame is 70mm deep. It is possible to combine a casement window opener (open out) with a tilt and turn window opener (open in) if required.
Our stylish inline locking handle is available in White, Gold, Satin Silver, Chrome and Black. An option to tilt in only is also available.
We offer a range of security specifications and options. Our uPVC chamfered, and decorative tilt and turn windows have been fully tested and certified to PAS24, suitable for new build and extension projects. These windows will bring peace of mind to the most security conscious.
Choose from an extensive range of wood grain foils to enhance the look of any type of property. Our fast track colours include Rosewood, Golden Oak, Anthracite Grey, Black, Cream, and many others. Alternatively, incorporate the woodgrain foils on the outside with the standard white on the inside. The Heritage woodgrain range and special order colour options give a multitude of choices to suit your customer’s taste. We can also supply matching ancillaries and trims.
Our tilt and windows come with argon gas as standard and achieves a ‘B’ window energy rating with the British Fenestration Energy Rating Council (BFRC). The four-chambered profile and thermal composite insert offers superb insulation for year-round comfort.
An extensive range of accessories is available to complete your tilt and turn window installation requirements. These include 95mm, 150mm and 180mm cills, 15mm, 25mm, 40mm, and 70mm frame extensions. With a 2mm joiner or 15mm steel reinforced joiner, along with a 90° corner post, 135° fixed bay pole and variable angle bay assembly, joining frames together couldn’t be easier. Trickle vents can be fitted in either the frame or the sash, and along with our standard colour options, colour matched trickle vents are also available.
